Because it's getting colder and colder by the day and you just can't walk around the house barefooted, I have here a little fun project! I promise it's easy as 1-2-3 or Do, Re, Mi!
You'll love the Elle Tie-on Slippers!
Just fallow the instructions here and the pattern. Told you it was easy and it looks great! :) Have fun playing with it! (if you do try to make it, let me know! I want to see pictures!)From: TissuePapers

Black on White
Images, words, feeling, smoke and letters. All black on white. All clear in the visual information, abstract in the message. Love them. This is my black and white inspiration, for now. Now!

City Monsters
Godzilla?! King Kong?! Forget about them! According to illustrators LouLou and Tummie ( a fantastic duo from the Netherlands) a new group of monsters are attacking our civilization!
Hmmm...still similar to the old-school ones we were talking about in the beginning, don't you agree? :)) But hey, everybody needs an upgrade! From: LooksLikeGoodDesign

Fashion History in an Image 1
I'm thinking of making this a weekly post.
So, the first image to go in your "Images that made Fashion History" file (yeah, yeah, you can change the name of your file!...uh, everybody's a critic!:)) ) is one of Farrah Fawcett! - the "IT" girl of the '70s!
Actually, the image is from the tv series Charlie's Angels and it's actually a picture of Jill (the character Ferrah played). It's an iconic photo of that period in fashion: the hair style, the blouse, the jeans and (of course) the Nike on her feet!
Puff...too cool for school! ;))

Walkin' in Great Shoes
For this fall Creative Recreation featured an great variety on the Turino model. But after the suede and designed fabric models, this smooth leather one is on the top!
Practical (the smooth leather is great for a rainy autumn day) and fancy looking, this Turino is a must for you fashion lovers. The detail that I like the most on it is the hidden shoe lace system. Such a small detail, that makes such a big difference!
Now, the price is not to be neglected ($295), but come on! This sneaker is fantastic! :)From: Freshness Mag

Two Billion Light-Years of Solitude
Here's something you don't see everyday! Juntaro Tanigawa’s poem, “Two Billion Light-Years of Solitude” sets the theme for the ring's design. A pair of rings that when brought together, reveal “death” in a French kiss.
Deadly, fashionable and again, all about the love. The Two Billion Light-Years of Solitude ring, even if simple in design, hides a great story.
You can get it here, for the price of 160$, in silver and pink silver.
:))) I really can't say why I like it, but I do! Funny :)))

The design expresses ideas such as solitude, love, and eternity.
The figure with the tongue sticking out symbolizes the male, and the open-mouthed figure, the female.
The rings are constructed from silver and pink silver respectively.
The rings connect when the tongue is inserted into the mouth.

Eat Fashion!...NOW!!!
Here we have the work of Korean photographer Sung Yeonju. She graduated from Hong Ik University in 2010 and now spends her time (precious one) designing garments out of food and then taking pictures of them.
I've seen lots of food-fashion designs, but this is something else. The first image is a blouse or jacket made out of: BUBBLEGUM!!! Now, how amazing is it? It just looks so much like a painting! Uh, love it! Also...I wouldn't mind owning an eggplant dress, just like the one featured lower!!!

Good Morning!
Ahhh! Have a marvelous day! But, in order to be sure it will be a great day, remember to wash tour teeth for 2 minutes. Brushing for 2 minuted will be healthy for everyone-Colgate

Meet Manuel Rebollo!
Let me just say from the start, that I'm very, very into this!
Manuel Rebollo has been for a while now one of my favorite fashion illustrators. So I can say I known his work for a while now.
But this is new stuff. Great stuff! What do I really like about this style of illustration? Besides the obvious (black and while with just a little color), I love the way the hair is done and also the eyes. You can just feel the drawing looking back at you!
Amazing work!From: TrendLand

A Furry Winter
As I said before, this winter it will all be about the fur! I showed you that in many shoots, but this is the best so far (if you ask me). It's an urban way to wear fur. Cool and hot at the same time, all with a Russian feeling!
So, in order to survive the very cold winter that will come (this is what everybody says) you could cover yourself in fur (real or faux)...and if you are on the chapter of protecting yourself, you might consider a gas mask. You never know what could happen...plus, the industrial look is pretty cool! :)From: En Mode Fashion

Romania, te iubesc!
First of all, I want to thank Sofia (The NoName Fashion Blog) for sharing this video with us!
Second order of business: sorry, if you don't know Romanian, you will not understand this. It's a video about the Romanian style. How do Romanians dress and why do they dress in that particular way.
All that being said, I hope you'll enjoy this episode from Romania, te iubesc! I'm actually a big fan and I just can't understand how I missed it. Even so, like Sofia, I must agree with everything that Maurice Munteanu said in the video. Now, enjoy:

The Vegas Circus
The black and white mood seems to be in right noe...as far as I go. I like the texture and also the feelings that come from them. Maybe the weather outside also is responsible for me feeling tres noir.
Even so, here we have another obsession of mine: the circus! Thanks to Monica Barreneche, who captured characters of the Las Vegas Circus in a way that makes them, well...magical! The old-school carnivals will always be interesting (especially for fashion designers) and the mystery of the shooting here will just make the interest grow and grow.
Fun, freaky and magical!From: Behance
