Wanna Walk in My Shoe? :))

Go to Plaza Romania (in Bucharest) to see a giant shoe decorated by me.

Also, there you can find the shoe-works of 7 other Romanian designers, like George Neagu, George Enache, Mirela Diaconu and others.

Hope you'll get there to say "Hello!" to theFword shoe. Or, as they call it there, the Arina Varga shoe :).
Oh, and if you get to take some photos...sand them!!!From: theFword :))

Chanel Gone Street!

One of the most beautiful things I've seen recently:

Pfff...this photo shoot is just too cute. So street-smart and at the same time, so classy! Great colors and very, very dynamic!

Just like the Chanel spirit: always chic and at the same time comfortable.

Are You a Fashion Victim?

Well, after seeing these photos, I can say (with the right hand on my heart): I'm a wanna be! Alexandra Zaharova and Ilya Plotnikov come from Russia with fashion love!

Together they form The Doberman Studio. Guys, you are great! I love the fact that a little bit of Russia is seen in your works! Again, the Discovery motto: connecting trough culture, celebrating diversity! From: Behance Network

Hair Fun

Speechless...The work of Oliver is just amazing! A great great stylist! From: Behance Network

Cutting Paper With Love

Brain and Heart is the name of this project. To learn more about the ideas behind this type of art, be sure to check out the site - and also to see much, much more (maybe even some paper cuts? Who knows...:)) ) From: The Heart of Papercutting and The Readhead

Still...the Redhead

At the Louise Goldin show (London Fashion Week, Fall 2009) they were there. And they were proud! Pfff...some passions just don't go away! Can't wait to see my redhead from Timisoara! :)
Kiss you all Reds out there! From: Coutorture

the Magical Christian Louboutin

If you ever thought that there was something fishy about the French shoe designer. That he is too talented, too good, just too much goodness in only one package, then here me. You were right to be suspicious! He is a wizard and here is the photo to prove it! :))
The photo was an add in may 2008, at Barneys, where the designer stopped to sign spring shoes. The photo was done especially for that occasion.

What I love is a question/answer in the NY Magazine article on this subject:
Everett: Do you think they used magic or fishing line for that one?
Amy: Magic, obviously.

Bucharest and fashionistas, a fashion frenzy is coming your way! On the 14th and 15th of February, at The Ark: Grandma's Backyard fashion fair!
Present with great fashion (clothes, accessories) will be:

Rozalb de Mură (one of the biggest Romanian brands, the biggest in it's fashion sector. I just don't know how to describe it...I just can't wait to see their designs!!!)
George Enache (a designer that I've already told you about a few moths ago, HERE. His designs are very well constructed, pure, but -just the way I like it - with a twist)
Veronica Vartic (bags that you must show-off, bags that look like they are going to travel you to the end of the world and back)
Andreea Bădală (a very geometrical designer. Her clothes a proof that fashion and math go great hand in hand)
Zasha (cute clothes, with great lies and a little bit of sparkle)
Coca Zaboloteanu
http://naivedesign.blogspot.com/ ( I love her and her shoes. Such a fairy personality)
O by Nes (believe me, Andrea Szilagyi - the designer for this brand- will come with come fantastic shoes and bags)

and many more!!!
+ ME, Arina Varga!! :) I'll come with great spring dresses, t-shirts, vests and much more! Can't wait to meet you all there!

Uniqlo's Spring Style

A clean collection, for everyday use - just the thing we like. Simple lines, sweety colors and (most of all) friendly prices! All this, in the Uniqlo's Collection (Spring/Summer 2009), from designers Shipley & Halmos, Opening Ceremony, Steven Alan and Gilded Age.

Yes, it was a designer open-call. It seems that as far as this brand is concerned, the more the merrier is the motto!
In this case, I agree! From: C'est la vie

Sebastian Errazuriz seems to think it's time ti simplify things. So, if two in one is so popular, why not combine pants with shoes and make them one piece? It looks good, but I'm not really sure how comfortable they could be...

Hmmm...yep, I would buy a pair! They look good - funky - fresh! If I'll keep looking at them, I'll fall in love completely... From: Design Your Trust

Perfection

The Faceless LED Watch is just the thing I adore! I just love it! It looks perfect! It's pure perfection! aaa! Going cu-cu here! From: Geek and Hype

Diet Cakes

What?! I don't believe cardboard makes you grow! So one can eat as much chocolate (this paper one) without getting fat! Delicious? Well...the do look! From: The Trendy Girl

McQueen Hunts With PUMA

or at least designs for them. And he designs good, making a connection between the well established brand and his own style. The result? A classic sport shoe, a reminder of an elegant shoe and (my personal favorite) great, great detail in the design.
So, long live the McQueen, who proved once again that he has style, no matter the brand. Just one little thing...I'm still a big fan of the classic Puma shoe! Just that :PAlexander McQueen and Puma
