I've known of this project for an year now, but I just can't say why I didn't write about it until now...And believe me, I'm doing it now only not to forget about it (a lot on my mind lately).So, in the words of Irina Werning (THE photographer and project coordinator), about the Back to the Future projects:
I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today… Two years ago, I decided to actually do this. So, with my camera, I started inviting people to go back to their future.Make sure you also take a look at the second series, the 20122 one!
