A Redhead at Parov Stelar

Hello! Hello!

Just a short post because the sun is out, the weather is fine and I need (no, no, no...I must) go outside and "hunt" for models! Yesss! Today I'm gonna sit on a bench, drink loads of coffee and look at chicks! (kidding...I'm just looking for the next model to shoot my collection)

Anyways, last night I (together with a few friends) went to the Parov Stelar concert in Timisoara. It was so much fun!!! Great music, great atmosphere, great band, great crowd! ;))) Saw a lot of old friends (all happy to find out I'm in Timisoara). AAAhhhh, it was fantastic!!!

Back to the subject (this is turning out to be a pretty crazy post...)!
Meet Ioana Ciurlea! A cute as a button redhead, editor at Analog TV in Timisoara! I just had to take her picture, because she (and her outfit) were so perfect for this event! Comfortable and sweet! Also, I just LOVEEE her haircut (doesn't it look pixie-like?).
Yes: lovely, fun and sooo Parov Stelar!In the end, my favorite song, A Night in Torino (plus an image from the concert). Hope those of you in Bucharest right now, will go see them.
Believe me, the concert is loads of fun!

The 8th of March

For me, the 8th of March is Mother's Day.
I just can't remember when it all became Women's Day (not that I'm complaining or anything...) Still, for me today is all about my mom!So, first of all, I have to wish my mom a great day!
Now, as far as we all go...partyyyyyy! :))) Kidding! We'll leave that for the weekend. But you must do something special today. Why? Just because you can (and you must).

Books and Art

Even if I love the way books look, with their different colors and sizes (plus, the inside, of course!) I am just feeling this art form by Mike Stilkey!

Not only does the support of the art (stashed books) look fantastic, but the illustration is to die for! How perfect would they look on your walls, instead of a simple painting? You get a dynamic image and also some texture (plus, people will start focusing on books again!!!) ;))

Mike Stilkey is an L.A. artist that does things with a little twist. Yes...the Devil IS in the details!

Using a mix of ink, colored pencil, paint and lacquer, Stilkey depicts a melancholic and at times a whimsical cast of characters inhabiting ambiguous spaces and narratives of fantasy and fairy tales. A lingering sense of loss and longing hints at emotional depth and draws the viewer into their introspective thrall with a mixture of capricious poetry, wit, and mystery.

Boys! Boys! Be calm, now United Nude is going to make you walk with a smile! (I know that's my state of mind when I'm wearing my pair of Folds)

They look über-cool and they are more then comfortable! Also, the price isn't bad, coming at about $190.00 (with a great variety of colors and colors combination). Believe me, you'll become a fan as soon as you start wearing your own pair:

Now, I'm not sure which I like best. The over-colored ones, or the ones in solid colors. Well, I do love the color-crazy, but I would go for the aubergine ones! Yep...for men, a solid color print is way better!
