Bang! Bang!
(Please no comments about the title!)
So...art is inspired by surrounding events, by history, by people. That's why it's only natural in a violent world, for art to be inspired by violence! This time, the example comes from Ken & Dana Design, in the form of a neck piece.
Now, it's not the first time weapons have inspired jewelery designers (like Obey), but what I like about it is the fact that it's not so "in your face!". The details! ->so important and so devilish, right?:).jpg)

Kaleidoscopes in true Typography
I guess this is what a graphic designer could call "a great time". Hours and hours of fun! All thanks to Katerina Orlikova and her magical typography kaleidoscopes!Using the medium of a kaleidoscope, Katerina Orlikova developed a series of five units each themed around a single typeface, ranging from sans serif to calligraphic; the result are beautifully colorful images that scarcely represent our traditional perceptions of type and how we interpret its design.

Band of Outsiders - Fall 2010
Now this is a group, a Band of Outsiders...that everybody wants to be in!!! They created a great-fun look for fall 2010/2011! But I'm afraid that when the cold season will start, the brand will change it's name! No Band of Outsiders can be popular, right? Well..they will prove wrong! Love the images, love the clothes, love the show (by the way, Anna Wintour was there at the show and was impressed by it-a smile!!!)
Love! Love! Love!

Marc Da Cunha Lopes and Video-Games
And as a plus for the boys, here is how most iconic games of the past few decades were created in factories! Actually, I guess they were made by hand, right? As far as Marc Da Cunha Lopes...YES!

Meet Marc Da Cunha Lopes!
Now, I have a thing for freaky photographers. Yes, yes...the sick mind is something that I enjoy (visually that is). And, after seeing the work of Marc Da Cunha Lopes, I'm not ashamed to say: I'm in love!
So yes, most of his work is a bit odd for most, but that's what makes it interesting. The beauty of the horror, of the strange! But I'll just let you find out more, after seeing his site.
Until the, this is LULU:
