Yep, I'm back from My Grandma's Backyard! It was so much fun and I was so excited to meet so many designers I admire! Everybody was just too nice to imagine, that's why I was like a kid in a chocolate factory...

French Fashion + Chinese Photographer = Perfect Combination!

Photographer Quentin Shih did a great photo shoot for Christian Dior. Here is Quentin presenting the ideas behind The Stranger in the Glass Box project:
I had to shoot the Dior models in Paris,” he says, “so I came up with the idea of putting them into a glass box. The glass divides the room into two worlds – one for Dior models and one for Chinese people – both finding each other mysterious and strange. But they can’t communicate with each other through the glass. So I named the series The Stranger in the Glass Box.
This photo collection is officially presented at the Dior & Contemporary Chinese Artists exhibit at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing from November 16th-January 15th, 2009. So, if you are anywhere near...go check it out!
