Sometimes...We Go Crazy...

...and the world goes crazy with us!
I guess crazy loves company, or something like that!

6:00 am - getting up
6:30 am - washing body, hair, teeth, face...
7:00 am - eating something
7:30 am - getting dressed
8:00 am - the day starts (officially)
...from this point on, it all goes down the hill. No more schedule. Fabrics, orders, meetings with clients, meetings with suppliers...a 30min break for friends and coffee...buttons, real-estate agents, brides, flowers, driving.
10:00 pm - back home
10:10 pm - on-line duty!
Bed time?...what time?! where?! when?!
Maybe I'll sleep tomorrow...

It's all crazy but it's beautiful.
Beautiful crazy! (and yes, this post is only an excuse for a song, at the end of it!)
The photos? By a friend. Why mirrors? Well...mirrors are special to me (only really special friends know why). hey! We all have our little crazy moments, objects, tricks...
How about you?the song I was telling you about:Images: theFword

Penelope and Coco

Meet Penelope and Coco and their new ad campaign for their Pre-Fall 2011 collection!

I'm just going to say this: I am in love and I want them on my feet right now! Uh...they look like so much fun! Don't you agree?...So, I said that's the only thing I was going to say, because I wanted you to know the story behind this amazing brand:
On a pursuit to seek the principal spirit behind her style, Marisa Spinella approached her two alter egos. She faultlessly braided these confidants into eccentric characters to bear the journey of Penelope and Coco.
Two vivacious, unique personas intertwined to actualize the life of her own...

Penelope is a dainty, classic, vintage lover. She discovers the beauty in odd belongings, applies red lipstick without a pause and is guided by the old Hollywood glamor of miss Rita Hayworth.

Coco is bold, complicated and risqué. Her sexual energy and eccentric mystique has all eyes on her. Regardless of location, a woman with no strongs attached, Coco connects the two personalities by blending her animated emotions with the delicacy and alluring manner of Miss Penelope .
Now, are you Coco? Are you Penelope? Or maybe you're just a little of them both! On the Penelope and Coco site, you can pre-order your favorite pair (prices from $298.00 to $482.00)!And in the end, here is the video (loveee it):From: C'est La Vie

Working Hard...

And it should continue: "hardly working..."
Why? Because I am very very busy and I just can't finish anything. As soon as I get to finish an order, or a new piece for the next collection, two other things come-up. Puff...this is sooo hard!

But fun at the same time. Believe me, great things are coming! ...and I can't wait to share them with you (but only when everything will be ready). Until then, here is a little preview of some of the things "to come"!

So, now you know why I haven't been posting as often as I used to. Surely you understand! You are all understanding, fantastic people and I adore you! :)) Kisses and love and...see you soon! ;)

Fashion History in an Image 7

Norma Jeane Mortenson
Norma Jeane Baker

MARILYN MONROE!

This lady need no introduction! I just wanted to share with you an image of her, that is very dear to me...
Now, I'm sure I don't need to tell you how important she was to the fashion world. Her sexy style, her Va Va Voom, the way she carried herself...they all created a true trend in the fashion world.

But my favorite thing that related her to the fashion world, is the fact that she had all her dresses sewed right on her! So that they would hold the body tight and this way showing all the curves!

Yes...ever since Marilyn Monroe, gentlemen prefer blonds! :))

Red Works!

:)))http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif Do not panic! I'm not going crazy! I'm talking about my Redhead that just got a job she really wanted and I'm sooo happy for her!

Now, I've been saving this little photo shoot by Julien Cozzolino for a while now. I guess because I was waiting for a special occasion. Not of a typical redhead, but what true redhead is?!...typical. A light, ginger, gone wild.

Sweet Redhead, you go girl! Working girl! :))From: Behance

Shoes on Your Desktop!

Well, we are talking about designer sketches of shoes. But still, it could work just fine, right? :))

So, all you have to do is visit the STYLIST site and download your favorite sketch form here! The designers? Georgina Goodman, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Nicholas Kirkwood, Rupert Sanderson and Sergio Rossi.

You can also read what the designers had in mind when they designed that particular shoe. Now, my personal favorite is the Sergio Rossi sketch (the first one in this post) and this is what he had to say about them:
The pump represents the essence of Sergio Rossi footwear expertise and defines the perfect silhouette: for the Chichi the extreme lightness of the heel accentuates its delicacy.
Delicious! Don't you agree? :DFrom: STYLIST

Ela, Ella Elle L'a!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM!!!
On the 21th of May was my mom's birthday and also her name-day! :) I wish her all the best in the world, because I love her so soo sooo much! And again, just for her, France Gall's song Ella elle l'a!

Why? Well, my mother's name is Elena (short version Ela) and when I was little, I was sure this song was written especially for her! Now I know that's not really the truth, but I still think she deserves a great song just for her!

My sweet mom, I love you! Happy Birthday again, and again, and again...Image: theFword

Haute Couture Busts

Elegant busts what would be the love of any fashion designer, or even fashion lover world wide!
They are the work of Emmanuel Bossuet, an amazing art director known for his work with (and for) Philip Starck's, EEM, Martine Sitbon and Sonia Rykiel.

For this project, he collaborated with STOCKMAN (historic mannequin masters). The result? A limited edition of haute couture busts, covered in 3d graphic textile print elements!

The basic models (3 of them) each have 10 copies. And (of course) they all already found a home. Only the 3 original ones are on exhibit, at the department store Bon Marche in Paris.

wow...I would sure love to have one:)From: trouvaillesdujour

The Heart Man

For a while now, I've been secretly stalking him...or his work. Because he is responsible for the big, red hearts all over Romania, especially in Bucharest (capital city of Romania).

For me, he is The Heart Man. The one that holds in his cans all the love a city can give. He tells me that all it's good, no matter what, he tells me LOVE! Because he, just like me, believes that it's all about the LOVE! (I don't really know this...but I like to believe it's true).

So, being the obsessed person that I am, I've been asking about him for a while now...and finally the HERO sent me this article about him (it's in Romanian...so sorry!!!). The Heart Man is real. He's not just in my mind!

Here you can see some of the hearts I managed to "snap!". My personal favorite is the white one. Because the owners of the building tried to hide it...but true love always prevails!!! :)) Images: theFword, Romania Libera

Pin-It-Up!

At a certain point in our life, I sure each one of you girls said to herself: When I'll grow-up I wanna be a pin-up model! That means: perfect, sexy, playful...and with wasp waist!!!:))

Now, this is how they did it (and still do it) back in the day when the first pin-up illustrations appeared. I guess here, like in fashion, it's all just an illusion! In reality: a girl in a basement! The finished product: a girl at the beach, at the like...in front of a fire! What is real?!...

Anyhow, after seeing this I remembered I wanted to do some sort of a pin-up shoot. That's why: Little Red, prepare!!! 'cause I know you'll love every minute of it!

Go Wild!

How about letting the inside rebel out? Just for one night...

And why not do that while wearing a bad-ass t-shirt, with some pasties under? Sounds like a plan to me!!! :) Besides those 2 pieces...it doesn't really matter what else you're putting on. Wear your attitude and it all be fine (and crazy in this case).

Now, this little number comes from Nikki Lipstick. You can also find there a wide variety of fun/funny/sexy pasties! Why sound you consider them? well...do you really need a reason? :)))From: Nikki Lipstick
